The Mill Race Activity Club aims to help people to live an independent life. The team of staff and volunteers get to know the members and find out from them the best ways to support them and to get them involved in the community through activities in and away from the Mill Race. Members have the opportunity of making new friends and trying new skills with a bit of help and encouragement from staff, volunteers and each other. We take people's wellbeing seriously and can help them make decisions about their involvement in the activities on offer.
The service also provides carers with an opportunity to have a break in the knowledge that staff and volunteers are well trained and that all activities are supervised safety.
